![]() ![]() It was hard for me at first to believe this because after searching hundreds of posts about Sims 4, exceeding the memory capability of the game is never mentioned for some reason so I am sure most people think that this is not possible. I have tested this over and over and it consistently works which tells me that the memory capacity of the game itself, not the PC as I have the latest powerful gaming PC with an I9 processor and 4090 Nvidia graphics card, has been exceeded. Do not save the game with the warning signs because once it’s saved, it’s too late to correct the exclamation point problem. Not sure if this is the case for everyone else but in my game, but when I go check the community lots in Willow Creek and I see the orange triangles that contain the exclamation points, I go back to manage worlds and go into a world that has a build that I no longer need or one that came with the game or expansion pack and delete the lot or enough lots until the warnings above the lots disappear. Make sure you are not using mods while trying to fix them. PS 2: These are all possibilities for your problems with the orange exclamation. ![]() PS 1: Unfortunately you cannot save yours lots with these workarounds but at least you can fix them. Always while in live mode and never do big moves at once (like 6 or 8 Sims). The same goes from a residential to a bar.ģ - Avoid moving Sims while in the world map. If you are changing a bar to a residential lot for example, do it twice. Now you set the right lot type and place the lot of your choice. Pay a visit with any Sim and then leave the lot. If you don't do this then your lot's ownership will be stuck until the whole household dies.Ģ - Change the lot to a completely different type like retail/residential to pool/bar and save the lot. If your Sim becomes a homeless for some reason.you need to put them back in a house and then sell the lot. If they all die, some lots can break forever. Some times the lot will be linked to the Sims that were in the household on the moment the lot was acquired. you need to find a way to sell the lot from your Sim menu. More of often if you move to a lot that was previously a public venue.ġ - If your household had a retail lot and now it's just an orange exclamation. Specially if you change while placing a new lot from the gallery.ģ - Moving Sims from one lot to another while in the World Map some times can break your lot too. Moving to a new house while owning a retail can break the lot too.Ģ - Changing lot types from residential to public venues or vice versa can break lots too. I don't know why this happens, but happens. If they have a big change in the family that can interfere in the ownership like a marriage. There are some workaround that worked for me, but we need to talk about some causes/symptoms to this bug:ġ - This bug tends to happen with Sims that owns other lots like restaurants or retails. ![]() I was one of the first people to report this same issue back in the day and my post was closed because fortunately I could find a solution. This is a very old bug that exists since the Get to Work release. Information, Guides and Announcements for the EA app. ![]()
